About Flame
After three years building on Firebase at a startup, the official emulator UI and Firebase Console never felt good enough for day-to-day work. Firefoo helped in production, but it did not work with our local emulator setup.
We wanted that level of polish for the emulator, and expanding it from just Auth and Firestore to Cloud Functions, Queues and Storage.
Today we use Flame to ship more apps. If you have lived the same Firebase local dev pain, we built this for you.

Met in Montreal a while ago, and worked in multiple startups together. Both making software for over 15 years. We’ve been around before AI 😉 see our AI stance for how we use it today.
